Monitoring seascape changes under climate change

Underwater Photogrammetry Protocol for monitoring benthic habitat structure and dynamics

On the 6th-7th of May 2021, the MPA Engage project will organize a theoretical-practical workshop for the application of the monitoring protocol based on Structure-from-Motion Photogrammetry.

The workshop is aimed at the staff of the MPAs partners of the MPA-Engage project and economic operators involved in the field of recreational and professional diving within the Portofino MPA.

The data collected during the field activities will be used to define the structure of the hard bottom benthic habitats within the MPA and will provide support to the future monitoring activities aimed at tracing the climate change effects on the benthic communities.
